A World Natural Heritage site, one of the filming locations for "Transformers 4": [Wulong Karst]
The [Wulong Karst], also known as Tiankeng Difeng, is a rare geological wonder and ecological tourism area in the country, characterized by typical karst topography. The area is famous for its three majestic natural stone arch bridges – Tianlong Bridge, Qinglong Bridge, and Heilong Bridge. These are the largest natural bridge clusters in Asia, formed naturally by nature and feature grandeur, peculiarity, risk, beauty, seclusion, and uniqueness, having endured tens of millions of years of natural forces.
The [Wulong Rift] formed millions of years ago due to orogenic movements, is a typical karst landscape, with a canyon 5 kilometers long and 200-500 meters deep. Its grand scale and imposing nature, along with high mountains, steep ridges, canyons, and flowing waters, create a perfect natural landscape painting. The Wulong Rift consists of an entrance rift, a mid-way tunnel, and an exit gorge.
Special arrangement: [Impression Wulong], with Zhang Yimou as the artistic consultant, Wang Chaoge and Fan Yue as the chief directors, featuring over 100 unique actors performing live. The main content revolves around the nearly extinct "Haorzi" work songs, allowing the audience to experience the magnificent natural heritage and the unique local culture of Bashu land in a 70-minute performance.
